Just when you thought you'd heard every half decent band around these days this band comes along and totally blows that idea out of the water.  This bands not just good, they are bloomin' amazing! I've seen them play live and they really are worth checking out.

This EP is a good introduction to the band and hints what true potential they have. Their sound is definitely good time punkish-pop that would go down well with most good time rockers.  If you are into the likes of Silver Ginger 5, The Yo-Yo's, The Wildhearts etc. then this band is one you really gotta check out.

The first song 'Damned if you Do' is very traditional of this genre of rock and opens with a great drum roll and lots of 'do - do do' before getting down to some serious catchy lines and guitars riffs.  On it's second spin you will know the words and will be singing along to it whether you intended to or not. There's also good harmonies between the boys that keep the background feel to the songs strong and boppy!

The second track 'The Image' is my favourite out of the three. For some reason it reminds me of Elvis Costello and his wry sense of humour when he sang such greats as 'Is she really going out with Him?' Don't ask me why, it just does.  It's one of those songs that is great fun, very infectious and will have the crowds dancing around at the shows when they play it live.  It's not a shy little number at all, it's big, it's bold, it's bouncy and I love it!

The last song on this little gem is 'Can't get High'. A thoughtful song about how sometimes no matter how hard you try it's just impossible to smile and cheer up.  You know the sort of day, no matter what you do you just want to crawl back into bed and hibernate for 6 months. Oh the woes of true love! We've all been there at some time or other and that's what makes the words that bit more meaningful.  Throughout it has those strong harmonies of the whole band that blend so well with the guitars as they strum the tune out.
