What with the insurge of new metal last year Buckcherry seem to have been
overlooked with their superb self-titled first album. Hopefully this
second offering will get them noticed.
'Timebomb' is an album full of pure rock n' roll attitude. These guys know
how to rock, although the subject matter in their songs will have the Mary
Whitehouse fraternity screaming from the roof's. But drink, drugs and sex
is what Buckcherry are all about from the very first track 'Frontside'
which speaks of blasphemy, sodomy and destiny, you know what is to come.
The title track 'Timebomb' is pure class Josh Todd's vocals scream at
you with true raw passion. If Buckcherry songs are influenced by
their life experiences than it must truly be a rollercoaster ride full of
highs and lows.
All in all a great follow up album. Hopefully they will get the
recognition they deserve. |
