| Nowadays
when I look at the bio’s that come with the promo’s if the name of
Michael Voss is down as producer, then sure as eggs is eggs the album is
going to be a fine release no mater what the genre, and again this is a
fact with the latest Cooper Inc release 'Pulling The Trigger’.
The pairing of vocalist John Cuipers and guitarist Christian Tolle got started when Tolle was looking for a singer for his second Christian Tolle Project album and when Cooper Inc were on the look out for a new guitarist. The unification between Tolle, Cuipers and Hans In’t Vant seemed the way to go and when Voss got involved with the production side, the name of Matthias Rethmann came up as bass player and so the next stage in Cooper Inc got underway. With Voss at the desk he’s worked his magic once again and brought out the best in the four musicians and put together a great Hard Rock album. Which gets underway with ‘All Of You’ and right from the off you know this album is going to rock big style, Cuipers superb vocals are so strong they really shine out, not just on this one track, but throughout the entire album and the combination with Tolle really works well. This combination is never more reflected than on the superb ‘Never Let You Go’, one of the many highlights of the album. Even the punchy rockers like ‘Rain’ and ‘Pulling The Trigger’ shows that Cooper Inc can rock it up with the best of them, but top rocker has to be the hook filled ‘Rock My World’. This is a great album
that really mixes things up from the more mellow tracks and the down
right groove filled rocker. There really is something for every
Melodic Rock fan on this album, it's a real corker of a release and once
again shows that the world of Melodic Rock has a lot more to give.
So those who think the scene is dead and gone, you better think again.
