Artist:  Kimbeley Dahme
Title: Can't A Girl Change Her Mind
   Label: Escape Music

Better known as the first female band member of Boston, Kimberley Dahme also has a voice that quite simply melts the soul.

With a style that is very much in the vein of Bonnie Raitt and Shania Twain this surprising album sweeps over you like a breath of summer rain.

This isn’t the usual album release from Escape Music but it's still a great album to while away the nights, letting all your worries be washed away with Dahme’s soulful vocals in a darkened room with just a glass of wine for company.

The album is very much in the Country styling while still having that Boston vibe running through it, as gentle as the wind and as stunning as a summer sunset.

With highlights like ‘Love Don’t Leave Me Know’, ’Jet Lag City’ and ‘You Make Me Believe’ making the cross over between Country & Western and Melodic Rock, together with the down right groove filled ‘Something We Do’, to the Soulful Bluesy feel of ‘It Takes Two To Fall’, although if you want to hear Dahme’s vocals at it's very best then the cappella sensation that is ‘No Question’ will just blow you away.

Like I said before this isn’t your usual fair of Melodic Rock you’d expect from the Escape label, but it’s a great album for those of you with just an ounce of sawdust and cowhide running through your veins, even if you won't admit it.
