Artist: The Doits
   Title: Lost, Lonely & Vicious
   Label: Wild Kingdom

The Doits are latest bunch of young hopefuls to come out of that hot bed of musical talent Sweden.  The band started out with the two brothers Altay and David Sagesen with Altay on vocals and David on bass, later adding drummer Tero Hakorinne and Anders Göransson on electric guitar to complete the Doits.

'Lost Lonely & Vicious' is the bands second release on Wild Kingdom records and during the period between albums, the band have used this time to listen to varying bands to bring something new into the mix for this album.

The album isn’t the usual hardcore album you can expect for the youth of today, instead it’s a very different animal all together with a sound that I would associate more with an American band.  The young Swedes could certainly capture the market with this release if planned right.

The album opens up with the gentle tones of ‘Solid Ground’ a track that has a definite 80's indie feel to it, think post punk Jam.

The album fits into today’s UK market well with the likes of The Killers, The Strokes and the like, with stand out tracks like ‘Love You From The Planet I’m On’ and the almost bluesy ‘I Could Never Make You Stay’ are strong single material.  The band also delves a little into pop punk with ‘Righteous In A Liars Mind’ and gets all Elvis Costello with ‘Gets To The Weaker One’.

All in all this a very now album that fits well into today market so the band have to move now or miss the boat because music trends change so quickly.
