Band: Greg Koch
Title: 4 Days In The South
Label: Provogue Records

To many the name of Greg Koch may be lost, but to everyone associated with Fender guitars, Greg is the best thing since sliced bread.  As the main demonstrator for Fender and his renowned guitar instructional videos and books, Greg has been inspiration for a vast number of guitarist over the years.

'4 Days In The South' is Greg's second release for Provogue Records, and gives Greg a chance to express his love of blues and jazz, with just a touch of country for good measure, in one album.

This album may not be mainstream but still it highlights Koch's ability as both a guitarist and a songwriter.

The southern blues seeps through this album, and if you just want to chill on a cold winter evening, with the lights dimmed down low and drink in life, then this album is one for you.

Greg's natural comic genius comes through in his song writing with tracks like 'The Love Contractor', and my favourite 'Chicken From Hell'.  This may be a musician's album, but it's great to get a break from the mainstream and just dip your feet in the cool slow moving waters now and again.
