Band: Miksha
Title: Collect Your Hazardous Waste
Label:  Anticulture Records

Norwegian four piece Miksha blow away the cobwebs with their fusion of hardcore metal with techno, the resulting mix of these two specific genres might seem a little far fetched for the more traditionalists out there, but this oddly seems to work. You can imagine this album being played in both the metal clubs and the techno dance halls and having an equal effect on both crowds.

The album opens up with the hard hitting ‘Locomotive’ from this track alone you can feel yourself being dragged along on a this toxic mix of man and machine, this is CYBORG METAL!  ‘...if it doesn’t kill you it only makes you stronger...’ is the first line of the second track ‘Reflect, Conclude, Return’ and just about sums up the whole Miksha sound.

The album continues to outfox the senses.  You're not supposed to like this sort of music, but you feel yourself being drawn ever closer to the edge of reason as the tracks unfold before you.

Stirring stuff.
