Band: Von Groove
Title: The Seventh Day

Well almost a year on after their split with MTM the Canadian Groovers release their 1st proper album for new label Z Records. I am pleased to report that it is a stonker of a release full to the brim with melody and some seriously catchy tunes and topped off with excellent groovy sections that the " Vonners" do so well.

First song in Believe in the One reminds me of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard at the height of there powers with that extra punch.

Track 2 Lily is a trademark track a classic Von Groove tune complete with an excellent riffing middle 8. This is Von Grooves first release with new boy Tom Lewis as founder member Matthew Gerrad has gone to pastures new and they don't miss him at all.

One of the stand out tracks on the album has to be Guns Over London , which is about the Blitz in the second world war and the riff alone is enough to peel paint from walls, please play this LOUD to get the desired effect.

In a fair world Von Groove should be huge as they are as good if not better than any of the top melodic rock bands around at the moment.  EXCELLENT!!!
