To capture a bands live performance on record is not an easy thing to do.  You don’t get the full atmosphere of the show, the sweat of the crowd, and the raw energy that is a live performance.  But some still try and some succeed in achieving a little of the live experience and 'The Wildhearts Strikes Back' manages to do just that.

This is an album that must be played loud and proud to appreciate the full Wildhearts experience. I've seen the band on many occasions and the reawakening and belief the band have in themselves has never been more prominent over the last tour, they now seem more focused and determined to succeed.

The album was recorded during the bands recent UK tour.  For all those who had the good fortune to see them on tour, this collection of classic and newer Wildhearts material will bring that night flooding back.

This two CD album has all the bands classic tracks on it including 'I Wanna Go Where The People Go', 'Caffeine Bomb', 'Caprice', and 'Suckerpunch'.  All delivered with the gusto that is the Wildhearts and the theme from 'Cheers' even rocks live.

Although this album will mainly appeal to all the die hard fans of the band, it is still a great addition to any collection and showcases the bands live performance well.
