Artist: 4 Bitten
   Title: No More Sins
   Label: Rocksector Records

If the name of 4Bitten is something new to you then don’t worry because the band are about to break it big when word gets round about their debut album ‘No More Sins’.

The main thing that will grab you about the bands sound is the sassy vocals of front lady Fofi, who comes across like a harder edged blues diva and has the power behind her to push further into the more Hard Rock genre.  Alongside fellow band members George on guitar, Akis on bass and Angelo on drums, the four piece are a breath of fresh air and with Fofi’s ability to mix heavier vocals with some quite genteel atmospheric ballads, the band have an edge over some of the other new bands that are surfacing on the scene at the moment.

The album opens up with ‘Lightin Crashing’ and instantly you get a feel of the power Fofi’s vocal prowess and the hard hitting sound the band are capable of.

But the band aren’t all brash and big hitting, even if there are some great brash and big hitting moments, they can also mix things up and do so exceedingly well on this album, with the likes of the bluesy ‘Believe’, the superb mid tempo rocker ’Follow’ and my personal favourite ‘Tell Me’, which feature some truly majestic guitar licks from George that really cement this track to stand firmly in it's own right.

There is a vocal vibrancy about the vocals on this album that keeps you hooked all the way through and the band also have a solid belief in themselves as they continue to mix it up with hard rocking sultriness of  ‘Rock N Roll Dream’ and the equally impressive and more gentle ballad ‘Waiting So Long’, before the hard hitting bass overtones of ‘Push To The Limits’, which has a wickedly funky feel to it.

The title track ‘No More Sins’ is a real cracker of a hard rock song with Fofi giving it her all on this one, again that funky bass just keeps on coming throughout.

The album closes with ‘Up To You’, again a true rock diva performance by Fofi as that sassy styling crashes through the song and rounds off an album that will surely get those tongues-a-wagging when the band support Dan Reed on his tour later this month.  They're sure to get some positive feedback I’m sure from both this release and their forthcoming live tour dates.
