This
Yorkshire quintet has only been around since 2003 in their current
line-up but since then they have been making their presence felt.
Their heavy mix of metal and post-hardcore with just a touch of
electronics thrown in may seem a little too much for some, but their
heady bass lines and ferocious vocals make for some interesting
listening.
The production on the album is a little thin at times but this is thrown
to one side as the quality and intensity of the band shine through.
The band at times try to put too much into the mix but you can't fault
them for trying to be different. They are musically sound and can mix it
up with the best of them.
Tracks that will make you sit up and beg for more are the electrifying
and nasty 'Don’t Make Dirty Movies' and the oddly titled
'[p1.2w-p&m]' which just sways so far away from anything else on the
album it stands out for its oddness.
The band still haven’t found their own niche and still seem a little
lost as to what sort of band they want to be but I’m sure with time
they will know who the want to be.
