Hailing from Cannock, this Midlands band are very much a "now" band with a sound that wouldn’t be a miss on MTV2.  With this EP the band have gone for a mix of driving guitars on some tracks and more subtle statements on others, which gives the band a whole spectrum of sounds and bands to be compared with the likes of Jesus And Mary Chain to Radiohead on one extreme and The Doors and Bob Dylan on another, such is the diversity of the band.

Things get under way with the bands next singe ‘Rock n’ Roll’, this track brings in the driving tuned down guitar sound that has become the bread and butter of MTV these days, this is the only real what I like to call rocker of a track, as from this point on the tempo is brought right down with ‘I Walk Alone’.  A real dark moody piece with its semi-acoustic guitars and tambourine is very Dylan like but with a much better vocal.

Things are brought up just a smidgen with the angst vibes of ‘Love Round Here’ that has a definite Doors feel when they were at their most dark.  The EP finishes off with the semi acoustic guitar once again with a touch of slide guitar on ‘140 Hours’, another moody track which is ok, but I don’t know how the last three tracks would go down in the live environment, well maybe in a small dimly lit smoke filled club to an intimate but modest crowd, but on a grander scale the likes of Rock n’ Roll is the way to go I feel.
