One of my favourite shows of 2006 had to be the Helloween show back in early February of last year.  To celebrate the success of that tour Helloween have release a double live DVD and CD of their show in Sao Paulo in March 2006.

The show seen by 6000 passionate Helloween fans highlights many tracks from the acclaimed 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys –The Legacy' album, as well as many of the classic Helloween tracks that are etched in the mind of all their fans worldwide.

The album captures the entire Sao Paulo in all its glory.  Things get underway after the intro with ‘The King For 1000 Years’ and instantly the full 6000 strong crowd unify in appreciation of their heroes.

The highly knowledgeable Sao Paulo crowd sing along to every song and are one voice throughout the album.  As the band carry on with ‘Eagle Fly Free’, ‘Hell Was Made In Heaven’, and the excellent ‘Keeper of The Seven Keys’, even on this live CD version you can feel the passion and intensity of the crowd as the band bring forth their unmistakable Power Metal assault.

But it’s the classic tracks that really gets the crowd going with the likes of ‘Future World’, ’Mrs God’, ‘I Want Out’ and ‘Dr Stein’ being the real show stoppers of the band. 

The album also features two bonus tracks recorded at different shows on the same tour, firstly ‘Occasion Avenue’ recorded at Kawasaki Japan in 5^th March 06, and secondly another classic, this time ‘Halloween’ recorded at their Czech Republic show in Vizovice on 15 July 06.

This is a must buy album for anybody that caught the band on one of the 100 shows in 40 countries during their 2005/2006 world tour.  It is sure to bring flooding back fond memories of some very special nights.
