This is the third album from the Finnish gnostic luciferian metal band IC Rex.  The special LP release contains two bonus songs in its package, with gatefold covers and an 8 page booklet with copies of the original CD cover and logo poster.

This is a very bizarre album to listen to, mixing elements of doom and death metal with the haunting chants hidden within the backing music.  There is also the added extra of them singing in Finnish, a difficult language to understand at the best of times but seems perfectly suited for this deep, dark, thrash laden album.

The haunting 'Intro' is the perfect opening to this bleak album, juxtaposed against the cold and frozen North from whence they came.  The dark lyrics are imposed upon the listener by a deep, yet lyrically rich voice.

It’s really hard to define a favourite, as the dark doom/death/thrash metal slides in against the listener’s better judgment, and infects their mind slowly but surely; an effect I assume was intended
