Artist: The Inbreds
   Title: Groove Drenched Warfare
   Label: Anticulture Records

South London stoner metallers The Inbreds debut album 'Groove Drenched Warfare' was released back in 2004, however, it's only just seen the hallowed offices of The Mayfair Mall this year.

The reason behind the promotion of this band is that they are on the road supporting Valume Nob around the UK in April 2006
, before crossing over to Europe to make an assault on the Euro market.  Then it's back on the road again in June and July in support of ArnoCorps in the UK and Europe.  So with this in mind here’s a quick run down of the bands debut release 'Groove Drenched Warfare'.

Riding on the back of the American bands like Corrosion of Conformity, Crowbar and the like, this British band is keeping the union jack flying with their own brand of stoner metal.

The album might be 2 years old now, but still this genre is as popular now as it was back then.

Stand out tracks on the album are the guitar ridden ‘Webbed Feet and Moonshine’, that sometimes verges on the melodic (god forbid), and the intense ‘The Wifebeater’, together with my personal favourite and a moshers delight ‘Septic Angel’.

With things riding high on the touring front this year let’s hope that a new studio album is in the pipeline so I can at least compare it with this 2004 release.
