Well the Summer is well and truly upon us and what better way to enjoy it before is fades into another rain soaked autumn than with some good time, hard hitting slap you in the face ROCK N' ROLL ... and that's just what The Jokers debut album 'The Big Rock & Roll Show' is all about.  Great riffs, big licks and a whole lotta rock!

Hailing from Liverpool the band consisting of Paul and Simon Hurst (guitar and bass), Chris Bate (drums) and Wayne Perry (vocals), were formed in 2006 and are influenced by the classic rock of Zep, Hendrix Rex and The Who and their love of great music.

The band were so eager to get their music out there they actually recorded it in guitarist Paul Hurst’s living room, with duvet covers hanging on the walls to help the sound and provide a makeshift vocal booth!

The band originally had the album mixed in a studio in Liverpool, but the result wasn't up to the boys high standard so who better to mix the album, well hell why not go all the way to the top!, and after scouring the internet they came across Mike Fraser who had just mixed AC/DC’s 'Black Ice' album.

After contacting Mikes office via the number on the website and were contacted by Mike himself, just hours later the seeds of 'The Big Rock & Roll Show' were born.

The album is sheer classic rock from the Zeppelin-esque ‘Ocean Of Kings’ to the hard rocking of the opener ‘V.I.B.E’, the superb title track ‘The Big Rock & Roll Show’ to the groove filled ‘Studio 54’, and then my favourite, the excellent ‘Hell To LA’.  This album has everything a classic rock fan has been crying out for, you know the impact The Answer had on the scene, well be prepared because it's all about to happen again when world gets around to hearing about Liverpool’s next big thing.
