Not to be outdone by his former partner in crime , Tore Ostby whose ARK
album Burn The Sun is a masterpiece , Roy Khan and the Kamelot boys have
produced another awesome slab of pure metal sonic imagery with the awesome
Karma.
These guys are getting better with every release and Karma at the moment
is the top of the pile.
The cd starts off nicely with the atmospheric medieval intro Regalis
Apertura that bursts into Forever a great fast paced thumper. This is
followed by the truly awesome Wings of Despair which starts of with a fast
paced almost Stratovarious style riff and double bass drum charging beat
and Khan lending stunning melody to an amazing tune, definitely the Dogs
Testi!
Quickly followed by The Spell , this is the first song that Kamelot have
done with Khan where the Conception influences have shone through as this
track could would have graced the awesome In Your Multitude album.
They say save your best till last and with the 3 partner Elizabeth they
have produced their most ambitious work to date a brilliant medieval piece
of metal. Yet another giant step on the way to world domination.
