This five piece Italian band have been playing together since 1996.  This is the fifth album / EP (not including the demos) for the progressive death metal band, albeit one with only four tracks!  There has been a change in vocalist in the past year, Michele Spallieri (ex Grievers and Symmetric Disorder), so this is a way to show what their new vocalist can do.

The slight distortion on the track is obviously purposeful, and lens something to their playing, a slight fantasy feel that would not have been there normally.  This is them banished utterly by the second track on the album, where the guitars take control in a battle between them and the deep, resonant growls of the vocals.  This battle is held across the remaining three tracks, and is built for head banging.

This album is decidedly different in the way that it attempts to mix etherealness in the instrumental introduction with the clash of guitars and vocals. The drumbeat can be heard throughout, providing a needed heartbeat to every track.  Surprisingly, the bass can’t really be heard over the cacophonous guitars battling each other for supremacy as well as the vocals.  The skilled playing can be seen cross this short album, and it is a definite for either a fan or for those new to prog metal.

A favourite track is, not unsurprisingly, the instrumental introduction 'Eyes of Hurricane pt. 3'.  This amazingly played and planned piece of music subverts all expectations that may be had about the album, especially with the slight distortion throughout
