Artist: Marilyn Manson
   Title: Holywood
   Label: Nothing/Interscope

Love him or hate you've got to admire Marilyn Manson for his sheer tenacity as he again reels out more of what can only be described as Mansonism.

The two single releases 'Disposable Teens' and 'The Fight Song' will both have you singing along to the chorus even if you don't want to. You might hate him but his songs soon hook you in before you realise it.

This is the sort of thing that happens when Manson & Co are penetrating your ear drums. This might not appeal to your average rock fan but 'Holywood' is an album that will have you .... let's not say addicted, but there's something about it that will have you wondering what all the fuss is about. 'Holywood' might not be parent friendly, or even Christian friendly, but what is nowadays?

Lets get back to the album and the songs. Other notable tracks include 'President Dead' - which seems to show Mr Manson's interest in the Kennedy Assassination. (If you have seen one of Mr Manson's previous videos you'll know what I mean). 'The Nobodies' is my tip for the next single release. A haunting melody with menacing vocals that only Manson can produce. 'Burning Flag' on the other hand is complete by being full of changes in pace that will have your head spinning out of control.

This album might not be everybody's cup of tea, but then again the world would be a pretty boring place if we all liked the same thing. I bet there's a lot of people who will buy this album and not admit to having it or even liking it!
