Artist: Mort Gryning
   Title: Mort Gryning
   Label: Black Lodge

Due to demand from fans the now disbanded Mort Gryning decided to release one final album the album simply entitled 'Mort Gryning' this swan song album will no doubt be the bands legacy to their fans.

The death metal scene may not be my cup of tea but the sheer number of bands out there who call themselves Death Metal the market will have been greatly boosted by presence of Mort Gryning.

This album is as intense a release as I have heard this year its sheer brutality and ferocity will leave the listener totally drained and without feeling like they have been consumed by some glutinous metal beast and their remains spat out for the vulture to feed upon.

With tracks like ' The Sun' with its break neck speed guitars and its doom ridden vocal stylings very reminiscent of pioneer black metal band Venom. This album may only appeal to a few fans of the genre but the legacy of Mort Gryning will not be forgotten in history of the genre.
