Artist: Motley Crue
   Title: New Tattoo
   Label: Motley Records / Beyond

What can I say about this new studio album from the kings of glam sleaze, except the Crue's back (well almost).

New Tattoo is a blast of vintage Crue. It seems that even without Tommy Lee pounding the skins, ex-Ozzy skinman Randy Castillo slips easily into the fold as replacement.

Tracks like "Hell on High Heels", "Treat me like the dog I Am" and "Dragstrip Superstar" brings back memories of the classic album "Girls, Girls, Girls".

The albums two ballads "New Tattoo" and "Hollywood Ending" have undertones of "Home Sweet Home". Vince Neil still has the vocal talent much needed to bring back that classic Motley sound lacking on the "Generation Swine" album.

All in all Motley fans will be pleased the Crue have been resurrected like a phoenix from the ashes of the Rock n' Roll doldrums.
