Artist: Naughty Boys
   Title: Destiny Calls
   Label: N Records

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a pretty wide musical preference but my heart will always return to Glam and ass-kicking rock 'n' roll bands time and time again and a band that definitely fit into the category of Kick Ass Rock are Naughty Boys who return with their latest album ‘Destiny Calls’.

The band is Swedish Hard Rock through and through big licks monster back beat and sleazy driven vibes throughout, as the title track and opening track ‘Destiny Call’ shows all too well.

This same high octane feel is carried on with the fantastic ‘Walk Away’, a real gunslinger guitar feel to this one, then there’s the excellent hard rockin ‘ Endless Pain’.  A real down n' dirty rock track that is Sunset Strip all over again but with a update modern rock feel.

The band show their versatile side with the Melodic Rock feel of ‘Don’t Turn Around’, before bringing the big guns with my favourite song off the album ‘Light Of The Day’, a real monster of a track that rocks from the off and never surrenders until the last note.

The band do show off a mellow side from time to time and one of those moments is on the ballad ‘Eternity’, a real touch of class that again show the band aren’t one trick ponies these guys are the full package.

And with more superb tracks like ‘Head Held High’ and the groove filled ‘Runaway Train’, this is one album that will remain on the CD player for a few months to come.  The album closes in style with ‘Fly With The Angels’ and rounds off what is a great album and one that rocks from the off and never gets bogged down with fillers just killers all the way.  Definitely a band to watch out for because destiny is definitely calling their name.
