Artist: The Pariahs
   Title: The Pariahs
   Label: Fading Ways Music

I must admit I hadn’t heard of The Pariahs before, but after hearing this album I would definitely like to hear some more if the quality is the same.

Hailing from Toronto Canada The Pariahs mix the exuberance of the 70's punk scene with the raw rock of today and the mix works wonderfully well.

The band have shared the stage with the likes of The Ramones , Therapy, and The Deftones in their native Canada, and if you like those three bands, then this band will appeal to you their style of no nonsense modern punk rock.

The album opener 'Baby's A Rocker' is a perfect example of the no nonsense riff enforced rock that The Pariahs are all about, and at only 1:42 minutes it makes its point and then leaves you wanting more.

Other tracks of note are 'Nighttime Of Knives' and 'Essential', and my personal favourite track off the album 'Yellow Alert'.

The band has seen out the grunge era and the resurgence of metal and pop punk and hopefully their persistence to stay true to their roots will bring its just rewards with this release.
