Reading
the press blurb that accompanies this disc you could be forgiven for
thinking that the people involved have not even bothered to listen to
the cd, as it mentions proudly Pomp Metal at its best.
Now that may have been the case if Royal Hunts Andre Anderson were still
in the ranks of Prime Time but he is not.
What we have got here is keyboard driven melodic rock at its best , big
catchy choruses and big juicy hooks to get your ears around.
The two opening tracks set the tone nicely with the melody high off the
scale and it is perfect driving in the car music totally inoffensive and
pleasant at the same time. It really does make you feel as though summer
is around the corner and that is topped off with the latin tinged
instrumental Spanish Fly.
All in all a good solid album that is very pleasing on the ear and easy
on the brain.
