Ever
since the release of the first Prisoner cd, that has been blasted to
death on the Groove death deck, I have been eagerly awaiting the release
of the 2nd Prisoner cd and fans of the 1st cd will not be let down as
the quality and melody are here in abundance as well as Tommy's love of
all things Toto and Lukather and even Journey.
Things start nicely with very Toto-esque Dead End with some excellent
guitar from Tommy , this flows perfectly into Jasmine, a typical
Prisoner song this leads nicely into Hold On which reminds me of Who's
Crying Now by Journey.
Tommy is on top form throughout, some of his solo's are purely stunning
a perfect example of which is the track One Way.
By the time you read this they will have played there 1st concert on
British soil unfortunately without Tommy who is not well enough to
travel but hopefully with the success of this album he will take heart
and will probably be fit again in the future.
