When two ladies are in your band then the obvious comparisons with Heart are going to be made and as a physical presence that is true. But musically they tread a slightly heavier path even though on the ballads on the album the Heart similarities are really strong.

Vocalist Pamela Moore has an amazing pair of lungs as she cranks out the tunes with some power and force. Guitarist and backing vocalist Debbie Michaels is a mega surprise as she blasts out the riffs thick and fast and slots in some short and tasty leads.

Originality is not the order of the day as the influences come thick and fast, as well as the already mentioned Heart names like Survivor and Axe spring to mind also.

I know a lot of you don't like women in rock bands (Hi ya Les) but there is no denying the fact that women can produce the goods when they play the right sort of tunes. This again is on the Kivel label and hats off to the guys at Kivel for bringing us unknown American talent.
