Artist: Reculver
   Title: Wake Up Call
   Label: Orgy Records

'Wake Up Call' is Reculvers debut single, a track that was included on a recent promo EP entitled 'The Klonk Sessions' so called because it was recorded in the Klonk Studio.   Although the band did in fact release the single 'Sharp Sand' in June this year, as that was only available for download, 'Wake Up Call' is in fact their official debut single that will be available as a hard copy to purchase from all good cd stores.

At the time of hearing the EP earlier this year I stated that the track takes ''the tempo down a notch with its almost acoustic start but soon picks up and hits you from behind when you least expect it as the band give their all in the chorus section, a real classy track''.   I still stand by that statement as it's as valid now as when I first heard this track.  The other songs I've heard from the said Klonk Sessions have firmly affixed in my mind that this band has all the potential to go far.

And with founding member Luke Purdie's grandfather, the one and only Bruce Forsyth, raving from the rooftops about how great the band sound, that kind of endorsement can't do the band any harm at all.

Powerful, emotional, sung with passion and played with glory, I can't wait to hear the full album when it's finished.   This band will most certainly be the big thing in 2006.
