Artist: Seven Witches
   Title: Amped
   Label: Regain Records

Out of the sea of cloned metal acts rides the savior Jack Frost and his band Seven Witches to bring some sort of sanity to the metal world. This is how metal should be down to earth guitar riffs, a vocalist who doesn’t sound that he's in some sort of pain and is an overall well polished product.

Seven Witches have seen various band member changes since their birth back in 1999, but the nucleus of the band Jack Frost has seen the band stay true to their roots and keep real metal alive.

Amped is true metal the way it was meant to be, monstrous guitar riffs and a booming rhythm section, matched with new vocalist Alan Tecchio bringing his own inevitable style to the whole thing this makes for a truly immense album.

Opening up with the thunderous 'West Nile' the album just goes from strength to strength. Even the power ballad 'Be' sits nicely among the more intense tracks like 'Dishonor Killings' and the metal anthem 'Flesh And Fantasy'. Along with the tongue in cheek 'Sunnydale High' the whole album is metal in its finest form so watch out all you false prophets Seven Witches are back with vengeance.
