Italy has become a Mecca for all forms of metal at the moment and another band to emerge out of the darkness are Synthphonia Suprema.

Formed back in 1999 by keyboard player Dany All, vocalist Matkracker and guitarist Fryderyk T.  With the idea of bringing together metal infused with classical music and electronica, they are joined by latest recruit Ismat on drums, as well as none other than Labyrinth’s Pier Gonnella making a guest appearance on rhythm guitar.  The resulting combination is the bands debut release 'Synthphony 001'.

Their musical style has been given the moniker of Synth Metal as they do away with the usual bass player and use electronic bass supplied by keyboards, so all bass players beware this could be a sign of the future.

The album is a full on no holds barred metal assault with that typical Italian panache.

Opening up with the monstrous ‘Fileader’ which rampages at a phenomenal pace, the standards are then set for the rest of the album.

The album blazes through some quiet magnificent bombastic metal classical infusion the likes I’ve not heard in ages.

With compositions like ‘Nothing Can Stop Me’ and the colossal ‘Synth Metal’ leading the insurrection, there simply is not stopping the full on assault that Synthphonia Suprema bring with this debut.
