From a band that lived it and breathed it to a band that so dearly would
have loved to have been there. TNA have taken all their influences from
the early eighties and added a little twist of today.
Ratt are the band that spring to mind here, whereas Stephen Pearcey wasn't
the greatest vocalist in the world but he was perfect for Ratt and the
same has to be said about Mike McManamon. Same vocal delivery but not as
whining and he is backed up with a great guitar player in Sean Tarr.
They also have the bonus that their songs are a lot stronger and benefit
from a better production check out Take You Home and Let Me Down Easy
excellent rockin tunes, but top marks must go to the almost Extreme like
Life Goes On which has a groovy acoustic intro and breaks into some
serious funky rock.
Released on the ever expanding Kivel Records who are doing in the States
what Now & Then and Z are doing over here, giving American rock bands a
platform for their music. Excellent !!
