All things come to those who wait is a phrase that comes to mind as the Kamelot DVD 'One Cold Winters Night' reaches the offices of The Mayfair Mall and straight away the disc was thrust into the DVD player and has been playing ever since.

As in my review of the CD a few months ago, which can be found elsewhere on this site, I simply loved the CD and this added bonus of the DVD simply adds to the pleasure as now you simply don’t have to imagine the spectacle that is a live Kamelot show, you can witness it for yourself.

Filmed with eighteen cameras they completely capture the show at Oslo’s Rockafella Music Hall in all its glory.

The DVD is a feast for the eyes and the ears and with the added extras on the second disc including 'The Journey Within', an introduction by Ron Khan as he tells the story of the making of the show, there's also interviews with the other band members Thomas Youngblood, Casey Grillo and Oliver Patotai, as well as an interview with Epica’s Simone Simons.

Also included on this DVD are the videos for 'The Haunting', the excellent 'March of Mephisto', both the edited and uncensored versions, 'Serenade' and 'The Making of The Haunting', plus a live version of 'Mephisto' from the bands appearance at the Sweden Rocks festival earlier this year.

This is simply a great package and together with the CD of the live show, is a must for all fans of the band.
