As a follow up the bands highly acclaimed 2005 release 'Enemy of God', SPV have put together this special Limited Edition CD/DVD digipack of both the bands album, plus the bands infamous 2005 Wacken Open Air show in all its entirety, warts and all. Kreator have always been the epitome of the whole Thrash metal genre and are Europe's finest exponent of the genre as the intensity of the Wacken show shows. The band induce what has to be the worlds biggest mosh-pit as Mille Petrozza as the rest of the band unleash the Thrash machine that is Kreator. The show itself starts off with the biggest influx of smoke I’ve ever seen on any stage. The band come out from amongst the mist and dive straight into the Enemy of God CD with the title track ‘Enemy of God’ ... and that’s when all hell breaks loose as the band go through the set like a rampaging bull with the likes of ‘Impossible Brutality’, ‘Pleasure To Kill’ and ball buster ‘Phobia’. The band continue their relentless assault with the classics ‘Violent Revolution’, ‘Extreme Aggression’ and ‘People of the Lie’, with ‘Suicide Terrorist’ from 'Enemy of God' squeezed in between these obvious crowd favourites. After another track from Enemy is the more sedate tones of ‘Voice of the Dead’. When I say sedate, I mean as sedate after being hit by a pillow case filled with lead. The band complete the set with ‘Terrible Certainty’, ‘Betrayer’ and icing on the cake ‘Flag of Hate’. Any DVD worth its salt nowadays wouldn’t be complete with out a host of extras and this DVD has them in abundance, with the band playing live on Rockpalast, a German TV show. Video clips for 'Enemy of God' plus the making of the video, there is also the full 'Enemy of God' album complete with lyrics for all you headbanging Karaoke fans out there. As if that wasn't enough they've also added the videos for ‘Dystopia’ (animated video), ‘Impossible Brutality’ and ‘Dying Race Apocalypse’. This is a must for every Kreator fan, even if you bought the original CD the version on the digipack will contain two bonus live tracks ‘Toxic Trace’ and ‘Coma Of Souls’ for your delectation. |
