Artist: Testament
   Title:  Seen Between The Lines
   Label: Escapi Music

'Seen Between The Lines' is the new DVD from Testament the archetypal San Francisco thrash metal band.  This live DVD was originally released in 1991 on video, but has now been fully re-mastered and contains a variety of extras not on the original.

These extras include 'Dinner With Testament', which shows footage from the bands own video footage of them enjoying the hospitality of a Japanese restaurant and trying some local cuisine and saki while on tour in Japan.  Also 'Testament in Tokyo' which follows the band on a visit to a Japanese temple and being greeted by their fans.  Plus a full up-to-date bio of the band 2005.

The actual live footage isn’t exactly going to win any prizes of cinematography, but still manages to capture the bands live persona.

This mixed with clips of the bands antics on the road and behind the scenes footage makes this a must for all hard-core fans of the band.

The highlight has to be the four videos from the Atlantic Records archives, these being: 'Nobody's Fool', 'Practice What You Preach', 'Souls Of Black' and my personal favourite 'The Legacy'.

'Seen Between The Lines' captures Testament at their commercial best when they were riding high during their massive 1991 US tour.  This entire package is a must for die-hard fans of the band that have worn out the original VHS copy.

..."Testament is more than a heavy metal band, it's a menacing force of nature" ...
