Hodson

The first band due up today was keyboard player Paul Hodson's, better known for his work with Bob Catley and Ten, new band's time to make their big debut performance.

Sadly it wasn't to be. Not sure which story was true, whether it was the bout of laryngitis he was supposed to be suffering from, or the fact that they had only just walked through the doors with all their gear strapped to their backs seconds before they were due to go onstage, that caused them to ultimately pull the set from the day.

Such a shame really because I know there was more than a few of us who were eagerly awaiting this band to see just what they had to offer. On the keyboards Paul has shown us over the years he is a force to recon with.

Up until now we've only heard him sing along as a backing singer to the bands he's appeared in. So today, we were very excited to see him take pole position. Sadly it wasn't to be and we'll have to wait a wee bit longer before we get to find out just how good this guy can sing.
