On a cold
and damp South Shields afternoon, four young men from the South of
England had a plan! This was a good plan - their best plan yet - and
they called it Plan A. They were here to spread the Plan A word to
anyone who wanted to hear it, at a free instore gig at the ShoeBox, that
is Changes One.
They arrived rosie faced from the pub at about 3.45 ish and tried their
hardest to "blow the bloody doors off" the shop and wake up
any sleeping dogs (or old grannies) that may have been "Out for The
Count", with their own immutable brand of high energy punk rock 'n'
roll.
The small but enthusiastic crowd seemed to love this half-hour of fun
and frolics and getting up close and personal with the band, as much as
the band seemed to enjoy it themselves. There were a few casualties to
the merriment, 30 CD's and a SG5 mug crashed helplessly to the floor,
but despite all, everyone had an excellent afternoon.
"Plan A" has a six-track CD arriving in the shops in May.
Also, the "Plan A" instore gig was recorded live for a debut
release on the new Shoebox label, this will be a debut release for both
the band and Changes One.
