Tuff were up next and after the fantastic set given by good time boys Shameless, (Shameless by name and Shameless by nature!), the fans were more plentiful by this time and were ready for more action.  Huddled eagerly at the front the girls were almost at bursting point with anticipation of seeing their heroes come on at any minute.
Steve Rachelle bounded onto the stage minus all the glitz and glamour we were used to seeing him personify in the eighties.  He's looking more like a mean street dude tonight than an advert for lipstick and eyeliner.  He, along with the rest of Tuff, are here to play some serious rock and that's all that matters.

With a set that included all the fans favourites ...'Ruck A Pit Bridge', 'Spit Like This' and 'Good Guys Wear Black'.  A song that's still a firm favourite in the clubs as well as being my personal favourite.  Then an explosive rendition of Mike Monroe's 'Dead, Jail, Or Rock N' Roll'.

Quickly followed by 'All New Generation' which had all the crowd singing along with all their might.  Lastly the classic tongue in cheek 'American Hair Band'.  Listen closely to the words of the song and see how many legendary rock bands and songs you spot in there.  It may be a skit but it sure gets the thumbs up from me. 

The band were then joined by the assorted members of Shameless for a fantastic rendition of the KISS song 'Lick It Up'.  Both bands seemed to be reveling in the opportunity to not only play together onstage in front of everybody here tonight, but also to be able to cover a massive favourite from this particular band.  After all KISS shaped a lot of the hair bands of the eighties and for that we'll always be eternally grateful.
