SANDALINAS release video clip for "Never
Seen Before" on Youtube :::
Spanish/ Swedish Metal band SANDALINAS
completed the video track for "Never Seen
Before". The song has been taken from the
current album "Fly To The Sun" which was
released on Metal Heaven on January 18th,
2008.
The video was filmed at the Fortress of
Varberg (near Gothenburg in Sweden) and
features in-door and out-door scenes.
The Fortress was built between 1287-1300 by
count Jacob Nielsen as protection against
his Danish king, who had declared him an
outlaw after the murder of king Eric V of
Denmark. Jacob had close connections with
king Eric II of Norway and did as a result
get substantial Norwegian help with the
construction. The fortress, as well as the
half the county, became Norwegian in 1305.
The grand daughter of king Eric, Ingeborg
Håkansdotter came to inherit the area from
her father king Haakon V of Norway. She
and her husband Erik Magnusson came to
establish a semi-independent state out of
their Norwegian, Swedish and Danish
counties until the death of Erik. They
spent considerable time at the fortress.
Their son, king Magnus II of Sweden/Magnus
VII of Norway, came to spend considerable
time at the fortress as well (extract from

This well-known guitarist shared a stage
with Power Quest in 2006 and it is: Jorn
Viggo Lofstad, from Norwegian Power
Metallers Pagan’s Mind.
In
light of the recent defamatory claims,
allegations and all out negative press
circulating earlier in the week, original
member and bassist Billy Childs, plus
the 2007 line up of guitarist Greg
Polcari and
drummer Henry, along
with new frontman and rhythm guitarist
Jamie Fletcher will carry
on as the hard rock group known as
BRITNY FOX.
BRITNY FOX has retained
the new management and booking services of
Lane Productions
and has inked a new deal with the
independent label CHAVIS RECORDS.
Through these partnerships the team was
able to do what was necessary and in the
best interest of Billy Childs.
There is nothing being
handed to BRITNY FOX on a
"silver platter", "no rebirth",
no skyrocketing BRITNY FOX "back in the
limelight", "no robbing or deceiving
anyone of anything", and
"no infringement upon anyone's anything".
BRITNY FOX is simply
moving forward as a band playing the songs
BRITNY FOX is widely
known for, coupled with a few
that we're not hits but represent what
BRITNY FOX was, is and
will continue to be.
BRITNY FOX is
currently in rehearsals with new vocalist
Jamie Fletcher for the
upcoming 2008 tour which kicks off on
March 21, 2008. Jamie was
selected over several candidates. His
stage presence, appeal and resume suited
the position very well, but being a solid
vocalist that can serve up the "Dizzy" Dean Davidson and Tommy Paris
material just like it should
be was the deciding factor. The team felt
that it was critical to not only deliver
the material as close to the original as
possible, but also not to deviate from the
BRITNY FOX sound that it
is known for.

personally spoke with Tommy Paris
and asked him to give it another go. Tommy
has moved on and gave his blessing and
best wishes. No ugliness, no negativity
just simply pursuing other interests at
this time. With respect to my involvement,
Billy had an idea and a vision that he
wanted to achieve. We had several
discussions with new management and put
all the cards on the table. We came up
with a game plan and an agreement that was
best suited for all of the parties
involved. I am happy to be involved and
apart of the BRITNY FOX

Immediate plans for BRITNY FOX
are to hit the road for the summer touring
season and begin writing new material for

Space Ace is coming to Sweden Rock
Festival!
Ace
Frehley is obviously best known as the
original lead guitarist in Kiss, but he
has also had a successful, although
sporadic, solo career. His first solo
album was released in 1978, when all four
Kiss members issued their own albums
simultaneously. "Ace Frehley" outsold the
other three by far. In 1983, Ace jumped
ship and formed the new band Frehley´s
Comet, putting out the splendid album
"Trouble Walkin'" in 1989. By that time,
however, the band named had been dropped
and the record was released under the name
Ace Frehley.
The
compilation album "12 Picks" hit the
shelves in 1997, but by that time Ace had
already reunited with Kiss for a series of
big arena tours and subsequently a new
studio album.
Now that
the original Kiss line-up has once again
split up, Ace has returned to his solo
career. A brand new studio album is
planned for 2008, so we should be able to
look forward to both old and new Ace
Frehley material as well as a few
mandatory Kiss gems!
NEW CIRCLE II CIRCLE EP WILL BE RELEASED

NEW HEADHUNTER STUDIO ALBUM "PARASITE OF
SOCIETY" WILL BE RELEASED ON MAY, 23,
2008!
After the re-release of the first
Headhunter records, the new studio album
of Headhunter will finally be released on
May, 23, 2008. The name of the album will
be "Parasite of Society" and of course it
was recorded by the original Headhunter
line up: Schmier - Bass, Vocals; Schmuddel
- Guitar and Jörg Michael - Drums. This
album displays the charismatic sound that
the band is famous for, but with an up to
date "in your face" resonance. Next to the
new Headhunter songs, the album will
contain the two cover versions "Rapid
Fire" (Judas Priest) and "18 And Life"
(Skid Row). An ass kicking album that will
delight fans of the early Headhunter years
as well as "newcomers".
On top of this, Headhunter are already
confirmed to perform on the world's most
important and prestigious Metal festival:
the Wacken Open Air.
SINNER - CRASH & BURN!
Sinner are just working on the
pre-production of their forthcoming album
"Crash & Burn". Nine songs are already
written and a couple of more songs will
follow in the next days. Mat Sinner
reports: "I feel very good with the new
Songs. I wrote some songs with Henny, but
also my friends Igor Gianola (Udo) and
Magnus Karlsson (Allen/Lande) came to my
studio and wrote some great songs with me.
Here are some song titles of the upcoming
Sinner album in advance: "Heart Of
Darkness", "Crash & Burn", "Connection",
"Break The Silence", "Revolution", "Like
A Rock", "Unbreakable", "One Night Only"
and "The Dog".
Henny Wolter: "I can promise a true-bred

“Today we had the first of three planned
vocal days, and Herr van Drunen nailed 5
songs in as many hours. You should hear
the man warm up, it's quite an
experience... On many of these songs I'm
hearing vocal lines for the first time,
and it's fantastic stuff. The lyrics are
already quite a vivid read, but hearing
them screamed, growled and vomited is an
entirely different thing! We mess around
with little timing things afterwards, but
mostly these are done in one or two whole
takes. To wrap up a long day (we did
drum-editing/cleaning in the morning) our
engineer Chris cranked up the last song on
the big-ass speakers (that you never use
in the studio cause they make everything
sound way too good), and we just sat there
grinning like monkeys at the awesomeness

"It's the basic idea of no hope. It's in
reference to the history of SOILENT
GREEN and also just life in general,"
Falgoust notes of the record's unofficial
theme. "Everybody is always picturing
things with a happy ending, but life's not
always like that. Every individual out
there gets to a point where they feel like
they've struggled to a point and never got
anything out of it. It happens every day.
That's the point of this record.
Sometimes, even when you put your all into
something and work hard, things don't
always work out in the end. That's just
the way life falls sometimes."
"It's a pretty heavy name," adds Patton.
"I came up with it. I've been dealing with
a lot of issues in life. We've had a lot
of deaths in our little circle. Glenn
(Rambo, original vocalist) passed away in
the hurricane, our old bass player ended
up getting shot and you know, we've had a
lot of issues with just family. It hasn't
been all peaches and cream out in this
area. So it's just a depression type
theme; when you're given hope and it's
taken from you. It's pretty heavy. Ben's
got a lot going on in his brain so. And I
must say," he adds with a laugh, "he makes
it really hard for crowds to yell out
titles of songs."

Brazilian metal act SHADOWSIDE
as co-headliner of this years
Flight Of The Valkyries set to

Station 4 in St. Paul, MN.
Flight Of The Valkyries
is the only music festival of its kind in
the US devoted to metal bands with female
lead vocalists. The festival showcases all
metal sub-genres with the only unifying
factor being that a female vocalist
obviously must front the band.
SHADOWSIDE, intense
female-fronted power metal lead by the
strong yet melodic vocals of Dani
Nolden, has received widespread
admiring reviews and is building a very
strong and loyal fan base for their music
full of personality, competence and solid
instrumental work.

had a good start to the festival with the
2007 show and I've tried to step it up a
notch with the variety of genres and
amount of high-profile bands we are
placing on this year's bill," says Nathan
"SwordLord" Block, Flight Of The Valkyries
festival promoter and founder of SwordLord
Productions. "It is with great pleasure
that I announce the rising star of the
Brazilian metal scene, Shadowside, as this
year's Flight of the Valkyries
co-headliner".
Additional bands will be confirmed and
announced in the coming months.
Tickets for the Flight of the Valkyries
festival will go on sale on Saturday,
February 16th at 10:00am. Ticket prices
are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of
show. Doors will open at 3:00 pm. The show
is 18+.
SHADOWSIDE was
also recently confirmed for
Indianapolis Metal Fest 2 slated
to take place September 26th and 27th.
Plans are in the works to link the two
festivals together with another U.S. tour
in between to support the release of their
new and forthcoming record. Full details
on the new project will be revealed at a
later date.
