MM - Introduce the band members to us.
Michael - Vocals
Tracy - Guitar
Jaysinn - Bass
Ritchie - Drums

MM - When was the band formed and how did you all meet?

The band was formed in late 1997, Jaysinn and Michael started working at the same place and discovered their mutual musical interest. At the same time Tracy (Mikes Brother) was jamming and wanting to start something, and our first drummer (Aaron - no longer with the band) had played in previous bands in the 80's with Mike and Tracy, so it all really just fell into place.

MM - Where does the band call home?
A two car garage in Louisville, KY.

MM - Describe your music and who would it appeal to?
Straight up ass kickin' Rock-n-fuck-n-roll! It should appeal to anyone who likes, raw, rock-n-roll!

MM - Are you signed/unsigned at present?
Unsigned, but still whoring ourselves!

MM - Tell us a little about your CD 'Don't be afraid of Rock-N-Roll!'
The CD 'Don't be afraid of Rock n Roll' is ten raw tracks of kick as rock n roll, The stories are true, only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

MM - Which band/artist influenced you the most and why?
Hard to say, probably Motley, or Kiss, Ozzy? There's so many. And everyone in the band brings something different to the table. Mike's into a lot of vocally driven performers and solo artists. Tracy is influenced by a lot of heavy rock/metal guitar stuff. Ritchie is the progressive rock guy and Jaysinn is the punk rawk/goth Freak. So I think it's all these things together that makes such a diverse rock band.

MM - Who writes and composes the songs you perform?
It really is a combined band effort. Usually either Jaysinn or Tracy comes up with a riff, then the whole band hammers the song out till it's fine tuned, then Mike sets down some lyrics and vocal arrangement, then we tweak it some more and viola! A Crush tune is born! LOL

MM - Is all of your music original material or do you do cover versions as well?
We only do original live. When we practice, sometimes we do some Motley and Kiss, but I think that too many bands play covers so we try to avoid those trends. Besides, you'll never get signed doing covers.

MM - Who designs your posters/flyers/CD covers?
Jaysinn is in charge of the design department, with input from the band as a whole.

MM - Has the internet influenced the way the band project their songs and their image?
Of course!! The Internet is probably the most powerful tool any unsigned band can have! Free PR, The option to sell your own music at 100% profit, staying in touch with the fans and seeing really how responsive people are to your music first hand is a really amazing thing! A little disheartening at times but amazing none the less.

MM - What is your main inspiration for your song writing?
We're not deep poets, we just write songs about what happens to us, and we make the kind of music we like to listen to, it's that simple.

MM - What do you think about the Napster controversy?
I think that first off, no matter what anyone says, downloading MP3's from Napster is stealing! Plain and simple. Although I believe Lars Ulrich could have handled the whole situation in a better way, preferably a way that didn't alienate fans. I mean, don't get me wrong I download from it too, but as a musician I think it's wrong.

It's like inventing this wonderful product, but before your first shipment is sold someone starts giving your product away for free! After all your hard work and time and money spent, you'd be pissed! So try to see it that way, I don't feel sorry for Lars, he's a rich prick ego-fuck! But I do worry about what it means for lesser known bands who don't make that much money to begin with! If it stays unregulated then who will write songs? Not many people if it means being broke! Like everything else it's just a scary new technology that will find it's place and regulation in time.

MM - What was the first rock band you saw in concert?
Jaysinn -Motley Crue/Warrant 1990 DR. Feelgood Tour

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
Staying drunk! LOL no really, the most important thing is trying to make the best music we can and try and score a lucrative recording contract, and touring the UK.

MM - Lastly, what short phrase would best describe the band and its members?
Bastards? Assholes? Motherfuckers? <----Pick One. LOL
