band members to us.
Tony Digiulio - lead vocals

MM - When was the band first formed and how did you all meet?
1985 7th heaven was formed.
Tony & Richie met in 1976 at baseball, started band in 1985, Dan
miller joined in 1988 and met thru a friend, Nick Cox joined in 1990 and
was stolen out of a band and Danny Weymouth was met in 1995 and stolen
as well.
MM - Where in the world do the band call home?
Chicago, Il USA
MM - How would you describe your sound and who would you most appeal to?
7th heaven is a wall of sound ... big guitars, big vocals, big
production ...
Everything we do is big, big show, big website ... everything must me
the best they can be!!!
MM -How has the music media in general responded to the band and it's
music?
7th heaven has been heard on MTV, Jenny Jones Discovery Channel and soon
VH1 as well as many radio stations across america and alot of great
reviews in magazines on our "Faces Time Replaces" CD.
MM - Who writes and composes the songs that you perform and where do
they draw their inspiration from?
I (Richie) write the music for the band, I get inspired from everything
and anything that moves my emotions and I give that music to Tony for
him to write lyrics to.
Sometimes a song can be influenced by two different emotions and mean
two different things to Tony & I and come out in such a broad sense
that the listener can bring a personal conclusion to the meaning.
MM - Is the band signed/unsigned at present?
Signed to a indie label 'NTD Records'.
MM - The band have played with some HUGE rock names, tell us who you
have performed with in the past and was there any particular one that
stood out from the rest?
Lots of 80's bands: Ratt, Fixx, Night Ranger, Warrant, Great White,
Local H, Vixen, Firehouse, Survior, REO Speedwagon, BTO, etc...most of
the current bands are on a package deal...
MM - Do you consider yourselves a fan orientated and accessible band?
Very much so... we talk to fans after shows, sign cd's & shirts
& always answer all mails.... plus you can email us thru our
website.
MM - What part of the shows really see the fans go wild?
the end.... we like ending with a bang and leave them wanting more....
MM - Who is your ultimate rock icon?
A few... rolling stones, beatles, elvis, michael jackson & madonna
MM - Do you have any plans to tour in the UK and Europe?
We'd love to.... we just need the opportunity.
MM - What's been the most memorable thing that's happened to the band so
far?
Being heard on all the tv stations worldwide.
MM - What was the first rock concert that you ever attended?
Cheap Trick 1976.
MM - How do the band like to relax when not out on the road or
recording?
We all enjoy our times with friends & family, travelling, enjoying
life and meeting people.
MM - If one of your songs could feature on the soundtrack of any film or
cult TV programme, which one would you prefer?
War Machine - Terminator 3.
MM - What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Stay true to yourself.
MM - Has the internet influenced the way the band projects their songs
and their image?
Yes and no.... the internet has helped us reach more fans and gain new
fans thru our website ... it has over 200 songs, 2,000 photos, 6 music
videos, live dates, news, merch, etc... we have got about 90,000 hit on
our site so far in the past year www.7thheavenband.com.
MM -
The band are currently working on new material for the next album. How
is this progressing and when can we expect a release date for it?
We are writing the songs now... looking for a CD & DVD release in
late summer 2001.
MM - As well as your CD's what other goodies do you have available and
where can they be obtained?
T-shirts, hats, bumper stickers, posters, photos, dvd, etc...
MM - The band always seem to have a very busy tour schedule, what gigs
do you have lined up for the near future?
We tour the midwest United States.
MM - Have any of the band members been involved in any other bands
before they joined 7th Heaven?
Yes..... nothing big.
MM - Where did the band get it's name from?
It means a state of perfect happiness.
MM - If you woke up and found yourself to be a woman for one day, what
would you do?
Scream!!!!
MM - What phrase best describes the band and it's members?
Fun, easy to talk to, entertaining.
MM - Lastly, is there anything you would like to share with your fans
out there?
