New Years Eve's party just around the corner, we catch up with Candice who
will be performing that night, Satan's Strip Show, to find
out more about the troupe and their dancers.

- Why do you take part in Satan's Strip Show?

Candice - To
allow people to bask in my glorious ...arrogant pout.
MM
- How
do you feel about your body?
Candice - My
whole house is a shrine devoted to my body. My whole life, a religion
the God of which is my unbelievable, superb, human form. Let's be honest
here: there is nothing more important, or more beautiful, than MY BODY.
Oh wait. There is. My face.
MM
- Do
you strip anywhere else or just at AC?
Candice - I
strip anywhere else. Wherever, despite the weather, I strip. That is
what I do. I like to show off. I don't believe in clothes. Nudity, yes I
believe.
MM
- What
is your day job?
Candice - I
do not have a day job. Or a day life whatsoever. If I were to be
presented with the concept of a day job, I would cringe and
dematerialize like Dracula in the presence of day light.

- Ever
had a funny / embarassing moment onstage?
Candice
- I did during my performance at the AntiChrist. I realized as soon as I
climbed the stage, that a corseted waist plus a corseted neck do not sit
well with the notion of dancing or moving around space at all. So I just
posed. It did get a bit complicated when I had to lean and pick the
candle off the floor; which is when I realized that because I had been
30 minutes late to the party, I forgot to wear the black silk panties
that went with my outfit, and I just went on stage with lovely purple
lace that stood out in the midst of all that latex like Britney Spears
at a goth concert. And then an army of photographers just sat there and
shot at me mercilessly and there was nothing else I could do!!! The
horror....The faux-pas was already recorded for posterity...

- Any
advice for someone tempted to apply for SSS?
Candice
- I say, why stop at tearing your clothes off?? This is the
underground scene, tough characters in the crowd: go ahead and strip off
your flesh!! Now that is taking the idea of strip tease to a whole new
level. Push barriers, be a conquistador!!!
